We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Lander, Wyoming. While there we were able to eat at a few super cool places. We enjoyed fine dining, casual restaurants, brunch, and we even took food on the road for a picnic while visiting Sinks Canyon State Park.

These are not sponsors and we are not being paid to discuss these places so you can take it at face value. Also, I am not ranking the restaurants, all were delicious and unique experiences. I am writing them in order of when we ate at each of them.

Gannett Grill

While enjoying some local beer on the Coalter Block at Lander Bar we got a snack from Gannett Grill’s Munchie Menu, so not an entire meal. But our appetizer of garlic cheesy bread was insanely good. The Gannett Grill makes all of their pizza with sourdough pizza crust. We highly recommend eating here if you are looking for good food in a relaxing environment. Tip: Be sure to check out their patio during warmer weather and watch for live music on their calendar! You can also order from the bar.

cowfish

cowfish. is an extension of Coalter Block and more fine dining than casual. Their elevated menu features amazing steak dinners, scallops and risotto, and more. The steak was like butter and the scallops were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. If a nice night out is in order, be sure to consider cowfish.

The Middle Fork

The Middle Fork is a breakfast & lunch establishment, which I love and I think brunch restaurants are highly underrated. I learned the ingredients are locally sourced, as much as possible. Middle Fork is a place every one has to try, at least once. The coffee was fantastic and my baked chili huevos were savory and featured fried jalapeños. I wish we had been in Lander, Wyoming for a week just so I could try more from the menu. The food is fantastic and you can taste the quality.

The Breadboard

We have a Breadboard in Cody, so we knew what we were getting when choosing food to take on a picnic in Sinks Canyon. As always the bread was perfectly baked and the sandwich was perfect for our on the go lunch. Outdoors people should consider this when packing a filling lunch while exploring the great and beautiful outdoors.

End Zone Bar & Grill - Zanmai Sushi

We had to check it out. The feedback we were hearing from people was that this was a great place, and they were right. The bar has two restaurants and you can order from either. You can also choose where you want to dine, in the sushi restaurant, the open seating area in the dining area of the bar, or at the bar itself. The sushi was great and the atmosphere was fantastic. It has a warm homie feel that was welcoming, especially after traveling. The staff was also amazing! Be sure to check them out if you haven’t already.

Bon appetit

There you have it folks. We enjoyed these establishments. As always do your own research and make sure its within your price-point, the type of food you enjoy, and an atmosphere that you are look for. Lander has a lot to offer diners and we enjoyed partaking. Be sure to show off your dining experience and post photos on social media. Tag us @LiveWYldMag and use #LiveWYld
