A taste of the west with Wyoming 310

If you’re headed to the Big Horns from the west then you might be going through Deaver. A little town with big flavor. Wyoming 310 is more than a highway, it is home to some tasty food, refreshing drinks and Melanie and Morgan; our friends and sponsors of Live WYld. Stop in with an empty stomach because the meals these sisters cook up are meant to fill your taste buds and your stomach.
Get your crave on
Whats on the menu? Well, are you looking for burgers, steaks, seafood… or maybe rattlesnake? Melanie and Morgan have created a menu for the locals and we cannot get enough of it. Let’s dive in for a closer look.
Between the buns
In the past we have shared our visit to Evans Farm & Ranch, where all of Wyoming 310 beef comes from. Reminder, it’s roughly 6 miles away from the restaurant. You truly cannot get any fresher than that. Melanie and Morgan have perfected their burgers and sides and quite honestly, they’re some of the best. Be sure to ask for some 310 Sauce on the side!
Greens and things
Of course there is lighter fare! There are several fantastic salads to choose from, but for those looking to enjoy Wyoming flavor with a local top sirloin steak I would recommend The Blackberry Peppercorn Salad as the perfect choice. It is served with mixed green, blackberries and a huckleberry vinaigrette. This salads is packed with local flavor.
The steak dinner
Again, the beef is traveling 6 miles folks. The steaks are cooked perfectly, they’re juicy, and full of natural flavor because they are grass fed on the open ranges of Wyoming. Melanie and Morgan cut each steak and grill them to order over the fire and you have your choice of side.
From the sea
The shrimp are tasty and make a fantastic meal! These large shrimp are served butterflied and either lightly breaded in-house or served with the house made cream sauce. I honestly can’t decide which way is my favorite. On the plus side you can get shrimp as an add on to personalize your meal.
Sssspecialty
Currently, there is a special for rattlesnake on the menu! You heard me correctly, try it before you balk at the idea. The special is Rattlesnake Cakes (think, Wyoming crab cake - but with rattlesnake). These cakes are lightly beaded and served with a sauce for dipping. Let us know what you think!
