July is here and with it comes Independence Day, camping, barbecues and rodeos. No matter your age, this time of year brings the nostalgia of childhood summers. Lisa and her team at the Wyoming Buffalo Company believe in family and summer fun. We considered some of our favorite summer memories and worked with WBC to come up with some items to help you create amazing summer memories this year.
Great Gourmet Summer Grilling - Meat
From wild game elk or bison steaks to burgers, poultry and even trout, WBC has a wide selection of spice blends to perfectly enhance your summer barbecue. Take that fishing trip into our world class rivers and cook up some amazing trout! What’s more, WBC carries ground bison and in the store so you can buy wild game to create an even more flavorful barbecue experience! From tacos to burgers, meat loaf or whatever else you can dream up. Back country cooking and dining has never tasted so good! Patio Sippin’
Nothing beats a cool drink on the patio, from sweet tea to wild huckleberry lemonade. WBC know’s how important a cold summer drink is for making those moments slow down so you can really enjoy them. The prickly pear tea mix adds just enough flavor to the tea to really give you a flavor of Wyoming. For those of you that are looking to take your Friday night happy hour out on the patio, don’t worry we have you covered. Grab a bag of the wild huckleberry margarita mix or the chokecherry daiquiri! If you are looking for something just a little new and different try the Wild Huckleberry wine slushy!
Wing Night Anyone?
While WBC doesn’t carry wings, they could quite possibly be home to the most amazing collection of hot sauces in the west! Be sure to check the scoval scale before buying! Build your own collection of hot sauces and have yourself a wing challenge. Hit the grill to smoker with wings and let the hot sauce taste testing begin. LW hosted a wing challenge for our holiday party this year and we are proud to say we made it through, albeit not without some struggles.
Outdoor Movie Nights! - With Snacks of Course!
We love our little outdoor movie setup and it is super easy to do, just move your tv outdoors or grab an affordable projector and put up a sheet. I must clarify, a movie night is not the same without all the tasty treats. The official movie snack is of course popcorn and Lisa’s gourmet popcorn is the best I’ve ever had. The s’more crunch and caramel chocolate and sea salt are my favorites. Then there is all of the chocolates, taffy, and licorice. It is easy to find Wyoming’s version of movie night snacks at WBC.
Start Making Memories!
Get creative and set time aside this busy summer to make new and exciting memories. Whether it is camping in the back yard or heading to the back country. Maybe it isn’t an outdoor movie night, but set up an indoor camping movie night. Memories are meant to be shared and we believe the summer memories are some of the best!
